William Christopher, better known as Father Mulcahy from the show M*A*S*H passed away yesterday at 84 years of age. He lost his battle with lung cancer.

I never saw the show, so I don't know how he acted. All I know is the world lost yet another legend.

I watched MASH because my Dad watched MASH and Father Mulcahy was an entertaining character. Calling him a legend is a huge stretch however. R.I.P.

He was a much liked household member of many americans and he will be missed in exactly that way.
