My computer is in the verge of 0 bytes, and the reason is because of winsxs. I read that there was a Windows update made for it, codenamed KB2852386, and the thing is that there is a new option call Windows Update Cleanup, cleaning up any unnecessary files. I realized that it was in my system all along! (as an optional update)

Trouble is after the update when I open the Disk Cleanup, the option wasn't there!

(It is listed alphabetically, so the upper half of the options are irrelevant)

Help!

See that button that says "Clean up system files"? Click that.

No, I mean that there is supposed to be a tick box option called Windows Update Cleanup.

And if you click the "Clean up system files" button, the Windows Update Cleanup checkbox will show up.

You do realize, I hope, that disk cleanups like this are at best a temporary solution, and a week or month from now you'll be back to little or no disk space available. Archive stuff you don't really use much on an external drive, cloud drive, or whatever, or just delete it if you don't really need it.

The long term fix is a bigger hard drive.
