You could also prevent them from loading by typing msconfig in the run box and then disabling them from the startup, but be careful of what you disable...

Why? Because I have good control over what gets started up when the OS loads, I can see the paths of where the programs are installed, and I can tell which programs are for the individual user's boot or for all users.
