Can installing a wing increase top speed?... if set to minimum

I would think having no wing at all is better for speed?

I ask because i ran an acr viper, we had all the same mods and hp but he was faster by almost 10mph and he had a different wing than the stock one

highly doubt it was the wing that resulted in the difference, if your car is brand new and his has 150 miles on it he could be making about 17 to 20 hp more than you, because it's how the engine break in process works. also, he may have had a better transmission tune. and you are spot on about the wing in theory, but when on a car with a bunch of power the effects may not be as far off as you'd think they be. A couple forum members experimented with dif downforces on top speeds and it only really became apparent on like race cars and touring cars, where the downforce numbers are much higher

The wing does make you faster in the corner. The faster your exit speed from the corner the higher speed on the straight!
