Winning championships?

I was doing the formular gt championship when i had to leave on the 4th race so ive got the 1st three races in gold. I was wondering if i did all the other races an got gold i would get gold in the overall event?

No you need to do the championship and complete all the races one after another.

No, you would not get credit for the Championship by winning the races separately.

You only get credit if you finish it without leaving.

You must complete the championship until PD is able to give us game saves part way through a championship or endurance race.

I think it's like...
You can win gold in the championship by having more points than the closest rival. No matter if you came in second or worse in any race. I would imagine you would still get the prize. It's like in any real life motorsport...

You would still need to go over the individual races that you didn't get gold in order to get the gold standard trophy (I think). You won't get a reward for doing the races individually though.

I won this by acing the first 3 tracks, just as well, since the close of the 'season' was wet and I never stood a chance.

Lucky for me the AI drivers aren't consistent. I'd have to say I was pretty lucky tho.

I've been back and golded the rest since, just for completeness' sake.

No you will have to do it again to get gold. After getting gold in all of the first races I skipped the last two and still had enough points to get championship gold. I haven done the maths but i think i migh have got lucky there

You can only get the prize by winning the overrall gold from having the most points. You can almost always skip the final race and still win as long as you finished first in the few ones. That can be a nice time saver.
