Introduction:
Welcome to the future. No longer are racing series contested with dirty fossil fuels and burning rubber, those technologies have been rendered obsolete for a century. Instead, competitions are fueled by innovation and the latest in anti-gravity technology.
The year is 2208, decades after the crash of the F9000 league and economic recession in 2170. This is the third year of competition for the newly formed FX350 league. The FX350 Anti-Gravity Racing League is a middle-ground between the FX300 and FX400 series of AG racing. This position is comparable to the LMP2 ground vehicles of ages past.
The FX350 league is the ideal place for new pilots and manufacturers alike to hone their skills and develop new techniques and technologies to take to the FX400 league.
The third year of running for the FX350 league is looking to be an interesting one. The sudden re-emergence of two long-absent teams in pre-season testing, Van-Uber and Tigron, have sent ripples through social media and the public eye. The anticipation for AG racing hasn't been this high since the glory days of the AGRC in 2048.
Format:
The 2208 Grand Prix will be divided into two brackets of eight pilots. Sixteen pilots will contest for the overall championship in total.
A Bracket and B Bracket will compete amongst each other in the Flash speed class, but at the end of each 10-race series, the top four pilots in both brackets will be pooled into the Champion's bracket. A final series of 15 races contested in the Rapier speed class.
Events throughout the series will consist of Single Races, Eliminator events and Time Trials.
Points System:
Each pilot contesting in the series will be awarded one point for participation in each race, and additional points will be awarded for every higher placed finish above eight place.
1st: 10
2nd: 8
3rd: 6
4th: 5
5th: 4
6th: 3
7th: 2
8th: 1
In the event of a first-place tie following the conclusion of a bracket, both victors will be pitted head-to-head in a time trial. Both pilots will have two days to post their fastest lap. The loser of the time trial will then be dropped to second place.
Sportsmanship:
Each and every pilot within the FX350 league is expected to uphold good sportsmanship to their fellow pilots within the league. Trash-talking during races or attempting to troll or disrupt this thread will result in permanent disqualification from their bracket.
If a person has been caught doing so during a race, please start a conversation with the race official here:

Craft Selection:
Each team will have the option of fielding any AG craft within the FX350 or FURY regulations. Identical craft with varying liveries may be entered. A maximum of four entries are allowed per team.
Manufacturer's Championship:
Some teams will score points depending on their pilot's results after every race. In each race, the first three pilots will earn their manufacturers points towards the Manufacturer's Championship.
The first-place pilot's team will be awarded 3 points, the second place's team 2 points , and third place will be awarded with a single point. Any finisher past third place will not be awarded any points.
Good luck pilots, we hope to see you on the track soon.
