Wireless wheels

Having a wireless wheel would be much more desirable than having a spider web of wires all over the place. Would be much easier to setup also. I was surprised to see not many of the newer wheels (like g25/g27) are wireless. What are the few wireless wheels out there and what problems do they face as opposed to wired wheels?

Yeah that seems to be the only choice out there. Makes me wonder why :)

How's the feel of the wheel? Pretty Sturdy or plasticy? How's the shifter? The pedals look kinda cheap, but for the money you save buying the Fanatec Porsche wheel you could get some nice pedals.

bumper, thinking about getting the fanatec wireless porsche wheel for my birfday. Is it worth the buck (actually pretty cheap) and will it be compatible with GT5?...is it compatible with pretty much all games?

Hey sorry mate missed your post. The feel is fantastic it's leather wrapped and feels quite sturdy, the FFB is very strong and very smooth and it's got a lot of adjustability. If you really need a wireless wheel you can't go wrong with this the porsche 911.

The pedals i find quite good but i have never owned a G25 or G27 and apparently they have better pedals. On the downside the H-pattern shifter on the Fanatec in my mind isn't too great, but the sequential one is very good.

The Fanatec wheel is great, super sturdy violent FFB is you want that.

Standard pedals is a bit plasticy, I have the clubsports and they are solid aluminium.

I have a G27 and it's just collecting dust now, Fanatec wheels has belt drives and no gears so motion is very smooth, you can adjust FFB, shock, 10-900 degree stering, linearity and deadzone settings on the wheel software itself independant of games, so you can use say 270 degree steering and adjust linearity so you can still drive ultra smooth. Clubsport pedals destroys the G27 pedals, contactless sensors that doesn't wear, load cell brake, solid aluminum.

Ditto on the H pattern, a bit flimsy imo. They are coming out with a new separate shifter that's all metal like the clubsport pedals.

Get the Fanatec you won't be sorry :)
