With the amount of grinding required in GT Sport they need to bring back B-Spec

It's like officially authorized rubberbanding. I remember leaving my PS2 to overheat all day to win some of those endurance races. Good times.

PD could also just drastically lower the price of the super expensive cars, to eliminate the need to grind. But that would upset a lot of people who “worked really hard” to get their trophy cars.

There are many things that could be done:

1. B-spec
2. Login bonus
3. Seasonals with high payouts like in GT5/6
4. Increase Sport mode winnings
5. Allow us to sell gift cars
6. All of the above?

All while still keeping the 20 million mythic price that PD seems to associate with a bunch of pixels arranged to look like an actual priceless car. But nope! Doing the same repetitive easy races again and again is the true mark of an elite player that will grant you access to these artificially inflated cars. /sarcasm

For the record, I don't think the actual car itself is worth 40 million (or whatever a 250 GTO goes for in an auction these days). I'd just laser scan every inch of the original, commission my own 250 GTO built to spec with modern more reliable components and drive the living daylights out of it. Crash it? No problemo, just build another one. Enjoy the car for what it's made for, instead of auction investment pieces.

Or they could have the cars available for Miliage points, or have a way to convert Miliage points in to credits. This way players who want to do things other than repeating the same races in single player mode over and over and over again have a way to work towards these “unicorn” cars without having to sacrifice doing the things in game they enjoy. Whether it be racing in sport mode, or cruising in online lobbies, or drifting, or tuning....all activities which would constitute “putting in work”....all these activities could then be viable ways to slowly work towards these trophy cars. As it is now, people have to put aside their favourite in-game activities to play the mind numbing single player mode (which in this game, is technically an afterthought) just to slowly work towards these cars.

We don't need B-spec for GTS, and it should not be in GT7 because it is a waist of time. I want to drive in a race when using my wheel.

Two in-game currencies makes absolutely no sense to begin with. They should just scrap mileage points altogether.
What if they scraped Credits and went with just Mileage Points? To incentivize winning, and clean racing, you could have a multiplier that increases the higher you place in a race, and another multiplier for a clean race.

Not a major change to the game stucture, just broadening the scope of activities that can generate currency in the game by including all forms of driving, not just racing against the AI in single player mode. Also adjust the cost of the expensive cars, as 20 million mileage points is a little steep

I don't have an issue with the current cost/winnings etc of the game. I don't understand the rush, or need to grind things out quickly. I have 70 wins in campaign mode and haven't repeated any races I have won. I have picked up 2 of the 20mill cars from just competing in Sport Mode races over the months. And I'm sure I'll pick up the new ones in good time.

If you dont understand the 'rush' then maybe you're like me or many others who have already racked up 6 months on this game and havent ever gotten over $15 mil. nor have we obtained even a $15 mil car and now need such a car to run the campaign.

Even looking back to GT5/6 and my use of B-Spec it took a lot of time just setting up the console to run.

I get it, people arent even as committed to me and I'm not that committed as the guys who happily grind.

With all the complaints about grinding for credits PD must not have completely “burnt everything to the ground” because well, apparently it’s still about collecting cars. Hm.

I guess you’ve got to pay the price if you want to slap graffiti all over a priceless classic.

But as hard as it is to get credits in GTS it would be that much worse if we had to use credits for the things we can buy with Milage Points, we would never have enough credits to buy cars if we didnt have 2 currencies.

I've always liked B spec and would love it GTS. Partly for grinding but also to just chill and watch the excellently modelled cars doing their thing.
