.wma to .mp3

How do I make .wma files into .mp3 files? Will I lose quality doing it?

I beleve you can use windows media player to change it to mp3 look in the options there has to be somthing

You will probably loose quality, because your re-encoding a file that is already encoded.

MP3 is a thing of the past. I rip my CDs using the OGG format - better quality and lower filesizes isn't half bad.

wma's are generally secured files for use on itunes-type services. you can't convert the encrypted ones unless you are a good hacker or have some hacked scripts to do it. And if you do, it's illegal since it's against some terms and agreements thing (i think)

Techtv had a thing on them, they just said ppl burn them to cd and then back to mp3. These purchased wmas already have better than cd quality so no audio loss should be experienced

Um...how can they have better than CD quality when they the rip the songs from the CD? Unless they come directly from the studio, I don't see how that is possible.

Apple gets the music from studio. They work directly WITH the studio to get their audio files so the quality is very similar and in most cases, better despite the 128kbit encoding
