Yes, it is better than WMP 8. You can finally save files this time.

I'm also using it, and they just made things easier. When you minimize the window its running in, you can make it a toolbar so you can just easily click start, stop, next track, etc. I like it a lot.

I remember noticing it while it was in beta, but I forgot about it until I just read your post. I've got it running now, and I must say I like it quite a bit over version 8.

I don't use Windows Media Player so I'm happy with WMP 7 that I have on my computer.

I downloaded the beta version on a PC, realised it was still the same old bloatware like all the other versions since 7 and never bothered using it. Although I think that a couple of my GTC videos are encoded using the WM9 audio codec.

yea i d/l. it's pretty nice, looks alot cooler, one problem tho. i kno how it's awesome that it can be in the toolbar at the bottom, but anyone kno how to make it stay there??? like, whenever i click on a new mp3 to play, it gets all big on me again, it would be alot cooler if it juss stayed in the toolbar instead of me having to minimize wmp9 again and again.
