Working in a sweat shop pays off!!!

Sooooo, all this working, and not visiting to GTP finally got me something.

Thats right I recently purchased a brand new 2002 Chevy Extreme. (s-10) Those of you that knew me before knew I had a 93 Chevy full size. Well, this is the sweet part. I still have it! So I now have two trucks.

Reasons for getting the extreme:
I wanted a smaller, fast car.
I didn't like the fact of not driving a truck.
Extreme, with a 4.3 V-6 5 speed manual gives me both, without even blinking.

Its what Chevy calls, Indiglo Blue. I will be taking much pictures, and will post them I soon as they get developed and scaned.

Just thought I would brag.

Nice to see that your labours have got you a reward!

Shame you felt the need to retire the Silverado just as it was run in!

Well... Point is I didn't get rid of it, plan is to keep it all oringal and show it in about ten years. The truck runs almost perfectly, nothing really wrong with it. It could probably use a rebuild, and paint job. That will all come as time goes by.

This new truck is just a toy. Something to satisfy my young mans cravings for speed. So far, its done a pretty good job. It may not be the fastest thing on the road, but compared to the tank I was driving before (i still love it to death though) it gives me a thrill.
