If you were forced to use the cars of just a single manufacturer for the entire game, which one would be the easiest to complete it with?
How many marques are there for which this is possible?
"Complete" obviously does not include one model races.
Someone must be looking for a good challenge; I think this could be it.

could be.

My WRX STiVersion VI does really well from its stock hp range to modified 490hp in the GT500's. It's Won the GT World Cup along with GT300 and GT500. I have yet to run it on the Endurence "All Night".

i would probably choose nissan just because they have very tunable cars. especially the skyline. honda's my favorite car company, but you cant tune a civic to 700 hp. :D

Its quote tough to find a manufacturer that can enter all races. The FF, FR 4WD and MR might have to be excluded because few manufacturers do them all.
I think Japanese manufacturers have the best chance, just because the game covers their products so thoroughly.
Excluding some of the races mentioned above, is it possible to do it with Fiat? If possible I think it could be one of the hardest.

I would probably go for one of three manufacturers. TVR, Nissan, or Toyota. The Cerbera is very tunable. It's light and can have lots of HP. The Skyline, well, it's a Skyline 'Nuff said:D. The 270R and the Silvias would be good for the lower hp stuff.
The Supra is a bit of a "wild child" but can be tamed thru tuning. And the Celica could be used for the lower HP stuff.

If you want to make things interesting you also could probably win the whole game with both Ford GT-40s. Or for another possibility there is also Mazda. The RX-7 is very formidible, with the lower hp races going to the MX-5.
Yes, I know I said three manufacturers, but I got to thinking of all the really capable cars as I was writing.:D

Have to be nissan or mister*****y. Both have cars that can break the 600hp bracket, both have 4wd cars and both have sweet looking cars.

Toyota, Mazda, Nissan, Mitsu and Honda are the first to spring to mind. They have cars in all sorts of drivetrain layouts, power ratings, and even rally (or rally capable) cars. I haven't tried Subaru all that much...maybe it can, too.

Opel is one of the few from North City that could concievably compete in just about everything. The from the lowly Corsa to the Calibra Touring Car, the Vectra sedan, the Astra and Tigra rally cars could probably win many races. There aren't enough layout choices, though (just FF and 4WD). I think Ford could stand a chance. Quite a variety, but no wagon if you want to play fair.

I think if you really played by the rules (using a historic car for the historic events; 80's car for 80's events, wagons for the wagon cup, etc.) then you'd probably be forced to stick with Nissan or Toyota.

Muscle Car cup for example, shoots holes in all those theories...the car has to be American if you're going to play fair. (However, Toyota and GM have had joint ventures in the past, so have Mitsubishi and Dodge...hmmm....)

Intersting topic...who's going to give it a shot?

nissan could do it, has all drive layouts, wagons and historic cars...a muscle car is a v8 so youd have to use the R390. no rally cars but there are a few 4wd's there. slap some dirt tyres on a GT-R Vspec with 800hp...id like to see that one day.
