It only looks reasonably ugly from head-on. That profile shot is just awful.

Yeah... I think these do too:

Also, was this ugly waste of a Delta Integrale posted already? The Errani Delta Erre20 looks awful enough without being lifted like this.

I always find the cars in the Turismo Carretera to be ungainly looking creations. Also, I think the TC cars outward appearance haven't changed much in nearly 30 years.

Man, them bad boys actually look cool. Add head and taillights for night racing! 👍

What car is it?
Jawa.

They aren't really pretty, but I do like the look of them. And it's nearer 40 years of similarity.
Ended up doing Time Attack last year. Not terrible, but the nose is questionable.

Crew Chief: "So you're saying we need more downforce?"
Driver: "Yes, a lot of it!"
Crew Chief: "Well, how will we do that?"
Driver: "Take an airplane wing and stick it on top of the car, that's how!"

Either that, or they may have just been a bit loopy while looking at a picture of the Chaparral 2H.

The Indy spec is a block of red Leicester and the F1 spec is a pregnant mess.

I'm horrified that someone considers this ugly. I think this is the most beautiful open wheel racing car of all time.

It also only failed to finish the '68 500 because Pratt & Whitney (who supplied the ST6B-62 to its predecessor, the STP-Paxton) were adamant on using heat sensitive extension shafts on the fuel pumps, so they couldn't handle the load once they picked up from the caution.
