I've been surfing this forum and site for the last year. following GT5 and listening to your opinions. Its from this site I first heard about Playseats etc.

I'd like it if someone here was to help me design my own cockpit. I'd like the seat + steering wheel frame etc to be seperate. If anyone is able to help and hear out my ideas and give me advice or pointers or even help me re-start from scratch it'd be awesome.

I've got my setup with a playseat involved, and I'm feeling like a million, when sitting in it and driving GT5p..

I like to think that it is the final setup, But Sony/PD/GT5 is pushing the limits with yet some new technique, and there for I'm not sure yet Hehe, But I've got:

Sony 40" 100Hz
Playseat AlcanTara
Logitech DF-GT wheel
Phillips 5.1 surround system (cheap but sounds like a million) (Sub underneath the Seat)
PS3 Eye (head movement)
Sparco Pit Glows. (much better with these)
Sparco Go-Kart shoes (much better with these)

USB Switch for shifting the wheel between PS3/PC (brilliant solution)
Power PC for the PC sims - GTR-Evolution - Richard Burns Rally - I-opener race - DIRT2.

Sony 40" 100Mhz

It is not MHz(mega=10^6) it is jus 100 Hz.
(100Hz features add input lag anyways)

I have DIY cockpit but i am planning to buy playseat GT when i get more money.
