Would this capture card be compatible with my laptop?

Thought it doesn't need a computer to record?

What happened to your Elgato by the way?
Doesn't work on my computer, not enough RAM.

And that's what I thought too, but they list system requirements underneath the product. I guess that's for after the video is recorded?
What's your laptop's specs, exactly?
All I know is that I have 3.80 GB usable RAM (apparently I'm supposed to have 4 but I have 3.8 usable, that's what prevented me from using the Elgato), and maximum speed 1.80 GHz. I know nothing about computers.

The task manager says I have an Intel i5-3337U CPU.

I probably sound really dumb right now.

Unless you have another computer at home that you're able to use, I would advise against getting the Rocket. If you get it and it doesn't work, it'll be a waste of $140.

Alright, thanks. 👍

EDIT: I'm stupid. I just realized the different requirements are listed under Standalone and PC connected.
I guess I could get it then!
