I managed a 1'29.2 in testing, with consistent high 1'29s/low 1'30s.

Work commencing on next season with these:

Marcos has to rely on cornering. Need to work on that Lotus Europa.....

Nurburgring is a full two hour day to night event with weather.

Every race you do is Day to Night. Why can't it be 24 Hour cycle? :(

Would work, but if only if we had events that ran to timer. Still unsure whether to go night to day perhaps for Nurb?

Explain your logic on how it only works on events run to timer. This is in the Top 10 of stupid things you've said this week(hell, even top 50 all time) :P

You set the time of day Accelerator to 12, time to 4PM, and race, simple.

Now I have woken up  , I like the 24hr cycle race idea. Marcos is a tad slow but Lout appears dead on using it

Anyhow I will post up more on that soon, Pescara this weekend at the terrifying triangle :D

Well, for now I'm sticking with the mustang for next season.

Wait a minute, 8 different cars in the GT class next season? I suppose a few of those 8 won't be picked.

Correct. Maximum of 3 per make. 10 GT's per race.

1:09.5 @ pescara for me.

I've sent out my apologies to those that were involved in my stupidity. What's done is done and my lesson has been learned, hoping for a good race @ Pescara :)

Pescara
1 Pace Lap @ 65mph
80 Race Laps / 269 Miles

Ask WSC veterans for the most gruelling race mentally, and they might just say Pescara. Flat out with average speeds of over 150mph, the italian triangle looks very simple on paper. But it's not.

Turn 1 tightens with hay bales rushing up to the edge of your to meet you. High speed, approaching 190mph uphill to a crest that sometimes results in the car lifting off the ground slightly, briefly getting speeds to peak at 200+mph before hard on the brakes to around 140 as the track tip's right. Bumps on the inside of the road can either hook your car through the corner, shaving off valuable tenths, or send you spinning across into the scenery. The final turn is flat out, violently dropping downhill.

It's a test of concentration, but also a test for the brain - we're racing into the night... and with nearly no lighting around the track barring a few timing posts and the pits, you'll have to almost memorise the corners - at 200mph.

Race Control Statement To Drivers From Furinkazen
200mph+ In the night... could be very chaotic if things go wrong. SO a few tips to reduce accidents. The track is very wide, GT / Prototypes - once your in a lane on the straight - stick to it if you can. Prototypes, much as you want to get blasting around, a blockade of GT cars at the top of the hill means you will have to stab on the brakes until you can get by.

If you spin, look at track map before you go again - don't pull out blindly into the road - if your heavily damaged - get to the side of the road. And pit lane is a tricky place, sometimes will throw you out - don't make an error and have to go around again.

And finally, put your foot to the floor, and enjoy a true high speed throwback tonight.

Good luck to all! Furinkazen

I won't be able to race tonight... :grumpy:👎

Only going to be able to disassemble my pedals tonight or tomorrow maybe to get them cleaned up (damn brake pedal's spiking again)

Well, there's no way you can park on the inside of a chicane here. ;)
