Thoughts on the test then tonight?

I don't have the Jag (actually, I only got the Chrome Line) so I can't compare myself but when I see the best laps of Joe in the jag and in the Mark IV, it's almost a second's difference.

EDIT: Just confirmed with Joe that his best lap (1:43.220) was also done with draft... best he could get with a clean lap was 1:43.5, same time he achieved with the Ford...

Nope, all I noticed was your 43.1 in the Jag and 43.8 in the Ford. I was 43.8 in the Ferrari myself but I can't compare with Jag and Ford cuz I don't have them.

On the Ford's 43.8 lap I was ahead of the 43.1 that the Jag did with draft, but made an error in the bus stop.

My times tonight were 2:06.6 on Mediums and 2:08.0 on Hards. Could probably go quite a bit faster with a setup and if I did any more practice, just hate this track too much though.

I was running on the mediums during most of the test. The few laps I had on the softs, best I had was a low 1'44.

I got 2'08.7 on the hards in the laps I did, not sandbagging, though I think I can still improve myself and the car for next week.

I was going to say. Joe previously had been running low-mid 43s in the Jag. which is nothing he couldn't do in the Ford. I don't think the Jag. needs another PP drop.

Ferrari can also run low 43s, it just requires a lot more patience.

Errrmmm....

Alfa can easily compete with the GTs and probably beat them as it matched my best time in the Cobra and still has more to give. Although it was a good .6-7 faster through the infield and yet lost a ton on the straights. So might not compete on the faster tracks (topped out at 147 with min. aero though so the top speed is better than the Cobra.)

Still not sure what the best aero setting is though:

Got about 36 laps on a tank of fuel in my 330P4, so it looks like Daytona will be a 2-stop race. What did you guys get for fuel consumption rates?
