I have connected my Xbox 360 up to my TV.

Power cable is connected and plug is turned on and HDMI/Red, White and Yellow cable is connected.

I try to turn My Xbox 360 and it doesn't turn on, I try to turn on by Controller doesn't work.

My Xbox 360 does beep when the eject and power button is touched.

Am I doing something wrong or is my Xbox Faulty, I bought it new with a warranty from Argos, so I am not too pissed off.

Not too familiar with X-boxes, but I think that you should consider disconnecting either the HDMI cable or the RCA cable for initial set up.

As a PS3/360 comparison, the audio/video of a PS3 can only be outputted via HDMI or RCA. If you are using a surround sound system, then the audio/video can be split between the HDMI and RCA ports, but you run into the problem of having the audio in a 2 channel format, or having video in a non-HD format since there is only one HDMI port on the console.

Again, I must stress that I am not familiar with new x-boxes, but back a number of years ago, the 360 couldn't support having dual outputs.

It doesn't turn on at all, or no picture comes on the screen?

Well I think it turns on but it don't show up on the TV no matter what cable I use.
It manages to beep but I can't tell if its on or off.

Is there suppose to be a Green ring when I press the power button on the Xbox 360?

Green ring only stays on if the controller is connected, I think. Does the light in the center of the power button come on?

The power icon is indeed lit the entire time.

F40, is it constantly booting up and then restarting seconds later? If so, disconnect the RCA cable and try that. Might be a "handshaking" issue.

Well I tried to get the Controller and Xbox connected by using the connectivity button on the Xbox.

I don't think its rebooting, All I know is that it makes 2 beeps when I press the power button, the eject button doesn't seem to work either but it does beep once or does the controller have to be connected for the eject button to work?

I tried with Power cable only, getting same results.

Is this the Slim model you're referring to, because if you are then I'll have to consult Google as I have no experience with the refined model

It could either be a PSU related issue or the entire system is at fault.

Which would be unfortunate.

Yes it most probably is faulty

No lights come on at all when I press power button :'(

I got another Xbox 360 Slim 250 GB and it works fine :)
