I mentioned this in another thread but I feel it might still get overlooked so I will post it here.

I just found something VERY cool that I did not know. We all know we have the ability to say "xbox record that" and then it is saved in your file for others to view on the X1 cloud. HOWEVER, did you know if you go to xbox.com and click your friends names, you can actually view yours and your friends videos on the computer or phone or ipad? I never knew that but LOVE that feature!!!!

Also feel free to share any "record that" moments. Easily one of my favorite parts of the X1.

Yes. Your recent videos are uploaded for all your friends to view. But I think they can only see the videos if they have the X1. If you really like a video a lot you can save it and it will be there forever. Otherwise the cloud does remove the videos over time. Similar to how the Halo file share works.

Also the videos can be edited too from the X1 after they are recorded. They cant be edited or deleted from xbox.com

This still seems to be hit and miss for me on the site. Some days it works sometimes it never loads. I even messed with the compatibility view. Sometimes that helps, sometimes it does not.

I would love the record that feature if they implemented some way to get it straight to Youtube. Theres many clips I would like to share, I just dont want to take the time to upload it to that site, turn on my computer, download the file, and upload it again.. There's just to many steps. I'm sure it cant be that hard to get situated.

That's the nice thing about xbox.com. As soon as you say "xbox record that" its instantly on the site for all your friends to see from their PC, iphone, or other mobile device.

The problem with that, is that you cant link them to any sites.

I also find the video player they use on that site to be a little choppy. Its like that on my work computer atleast.
