Hi all,
First, let me just say that I'm not sure about posting this thread in this section, so if the mods need it posted somewhere else, I'd be happy to do that.
Anyway to get to the point, I was driving my parents' E-Class the other night and noticed that the passenger side headlight seemed to be slightly yellowish. Both headlights are stock and bulbs have never been replaced on either side. The headlights are the optional Bi-Xenon lights, hence the reason a yellow-white color light being emitted is odd, combined with it only happening on one side.
I tried to capture it in some pictures, but I feel like the only one that shows it somewhat accurately is the one with the lights pointed at the paper towel roll.
Left (Passenger Side) headlight:
Right (Driver's Side) Headlight:
If anyone knows a cause for this, whether its normal as time goes on, and if this means the bulbs need replacement, please comment below. In the case that it helps, the car has 119,500 miles and is 9 years old in a couple of weeks.
Thanks,
Tony
