xploid speakers, good, bad?

Im putting new speakers in my car and am thinking about putting xplode speakers in. Any of you have them? what do you think of them? good? bad?

I have the 12" xplode speakers. They have good sound quality and are realitivly cheap.

What size are you getting?

Are you serious? For about the same price, you could pick up an MTX Thunder 6000, that would blast the living crap out of that Xplode. The only thing that the Xplode has going for it, is it's color scheme is pretty. Other than that, it's a terrible speaker.

Yeah, sony makes some great products but car audio is just not their thing. I suggest Rockford Fosgate subs, Alpines are good too. check out www.crutchfield.com

I suggest Polk Momos, I blasted them at Fry's and they litterally shake your lungs.

One of my other friends had a 10" Rockford Fosgate sub hooked up to a 300W amp in his Contour. Sounded awesome. 👍
