you checked seperate axis in the profiler and you went in the ingame options and did it... and it still doesnt work?

Try recalibrating the wheel out of game, and uncheck calibration lock then recalibrate it ingame.
if that doesnt work, you can try plugging out the wheel, uninstalling drivers completely using that driver cleaner software, then reinstall the drivers and recalibrate.

Where should I check "seperate axis"? The wheel is fine, the pedal is not co-operating...

The F08 is not even funny. How are you suppose to get a clean lauch? I really hope RL indy cars are not that hard to handle.

its a formula nippon/f3000 car. not indy :P the stats are almost exact of a formula nippon car and it looks almost exactly like one.

go to options/controls and pick separate axis in lfs.

and in the profiler, check "use special profiler settings" and "uncheck combined axis" in both global and specific game settings

Damn there are never 2 replies behind eachother that are NOT from gabkicks.

Anyway, guys I'm thinking about buying the complete game but frist of all I dont really know how to pay through internet. I just have a general suspicion towards internet payments, cant support it with any reason why, but I'm just suspicious.

Is it REALLY worth it? Or does the game stay pretty much the same after the demo...?

more cars, more tracks. leagues, make your own autocross and you can add cones and barriers to the other tracks as well as ramps. and the autoskin loading.

yeah. there's also a program i use called mates@track to let me know when my buddies are on. and i just click there names and it puts me on the same server. Its much easier to find good races in the full game and there is much less wrecking. infact i havent seen a wrecking incident for a good week.

Omg, I really should get into that payment stuff.

Just asking because I recently saw a topic on the LFS forums about someone complaining the good LFS players were all leaving the game and that it was kinda deserted??

yeah i cant sleep so i'm just sitting on the computer listening to music and workin out :P. what a way to spend a friday night... well saturday morning now.

It's 10.11 AM here:)

Edit: Oh I added you to my AIM;) I'm gtplanet fan there because gt4fan was occupied I guess. Just a way to recognize that I'm from gtplanet and that I'm (GT4)fan;):)

Hey guys!

After some practices and using my friend's DFP set-ups later, cars are so much easier now!

However only a hour ago, I was driving the XRT and my friend was driving the car that looks like a Civic? That FF with turbo? I was pulling away on Blackwood forward on most of the corners, but on the 2nd last corner, he was gaining A LOT of ground on me!!! After the race was over, I tried his car and easily beat his best lap in the race. I was wondering, is that Civic like FF faster on certain corners? It really felt stable and fast on corner entries and loves late braking!

lol look at the specs for the fxo compared to the xrt. it explains everything. lighter, more powerfull, bigger wheels etc. but after a few physics flaws are fixed the gap between the fxo and xrt might shrink hopefully.

I have heard of the flaw, something about traction and tires. Why should it only affect the rear-wheel-drive XR but on the front-wheel-drive "FXO"?

i dunno its the way traction is lost and gained isnt quite perfect and a few other things. and because of this people can push the fwd cars like the gti and fxo harder than they can t he rwd equivalents. it'll be fixed in the next patch.

Yeah it's difficult but learnable. But with the formula 1 V8. O..M..G.. You have to be completely straight before you floor it. That thing is a BEAST! Mostly it's delicate throttle input anyway.

:P its just that the more powerfull cars require a bit more skilled footwork. with the f08 i use the throttle to help turn the car on some corners along with a little left foot breaking here and there to keep from understeering. The next patch should change the way the top drivers attack corners to be more realistic. Its very good now but it could be better and will be :D

It's a skill thing. You'll get used to the XR series. The XRR is WAY harder than the regular ones. Just keep trying and you should get it. I prefer the FO8 most.
