Hi guys. I was browsing a little something called "Mercado Libre" (Think Mexico's eBay) when I came across this:

I tried googling it but had no luck. After analizing the pictures, the price and the build quality, I've come to the conclusion that it -might- be manufactured here in Mexico, but I'm not sure... Why? The price is actually very reasonable. It's around 300 USD... the prices for imported cockpits are prohibitive here in Mexico, our custom taxes are insane.

Have you, by any chance come across this cockpit before? Here are more pics:

That seems pretty steep, although I don't know what prices are like in Mexico.

I've never seen it before either, but it looks like a decent setup, the only thing that I'm not sure about is the seat, it looks quite uncomfortable.

Never heard of it. Doesnt look bad and is likely stable. My only issue would be that seat. Looks very much like the seats we used for a buddies manx buggy and they were just not very comfortable. However it likely wouldnt take much modification to use your own seat. That all being said the design is simple enough you could probably build your own for cheap.

To put it in perspective, the most basic Playseat costs around $500 plus shipping. :(

im not a big fan of playseats and id still say youre probably better off getting an evolution over this for $500. this does not look like it should cost as much as it does.

I sort of agree. I could justify this price if it had an actual seat. Like you all said, the seat looks very painful.
