Clicked on a link the the Steering Wheels & Racing Cockpits forum and came across this new wheel from the ARC-team in Italy.

http://www.f1driving.it/english/index.htm

Click on ARC wheel/pedals on the left hand side of this site under Products.

I'm very curious about the price and the platform(s) that this wheel/pedals will be compatible with.

Ps: this time, I hope this thread will stay open. I search and nothing ... .:D

The article says it's designed to work with the G25 but will also work with the DFP and GT Force (with some restrictions)

It also says it weighs 1200kgs !!!!

Yeah, what he (^) said
In France at least, and probably most places on the continent, use commas insead of points (.). So it is like 1,2 Kilometres to Paris or whatever 👍

It says 1,200kg which means 1200gr. We use a comma (decimal point). The final lighter version is a staggering 100gr lighter.

1,200kg = 1.200kg = 1200gr = 1kg and 200gr. Am I slightly patronizing? :sly:

F1 style and only 2 pedal setup won't get this wheel very far.
What do you mean exactly? A real F1 car has only 2 pedals - break and throttle -. This wheel has 2 paddles (for shifting) and analog clutch paddles behind the wheel, just like in a real F1 car. The pedal box only has two pedals, if that's what you mean. But an F1 style wheel does not need to have a clutch (food clutch on the pedal box).

If I understand correctly, you can use other pedal boxes with clutch in combination with this wheel.

Yep, exactly!

Anyone have an idea as to how much that wheel will go for once it's released? I'm thinking US$200 might be a bit towards the low end.

What about these pedals?

Approximately $500, too much for me.

Well the Modded Logitech G25 with Mod G25-E by Arc-Team, is 520,00 €(including 20 % tax). That is buying the G25 from them.
230,00 (including 20 % tax) for just the Mod it you modify it yourself.

Given the current exchange rate, that's about $750 for the modded wheel and about $335 for the kit if I'm not mistaken. Sounds like something to save up for for the serious sim-racer. :)

Why use logitech wheels as a base? Sure you get a nice wheel in your hands but as soon as you start driving it doesn´t feel all that well. I would rather save up for the frex simwheel then paying 750$ for that one :)
