My dad has told me many stories in relation to cars and motorsport, and I'm interested in hearing other stories from the GT Planet. Here are some I have (courtesy of my dad)
He said that he did 220KM/H in a BMW 5 Series with racing tyres
He also said that he drove the car around Bathurst
One really interesting story however was when he and his other workmates (who work for Dunlop, or at least did) were supplying tyres for one round of the Australian Rally Championship. He told me that they had to wait until the last car left and get to the first service area before the first car arrived. They had to do it multiple times during the day and all of them were absolutely buggered, especially due to the fact that they had to drive the truck like crazy. For dinner however, they were forced to have a coleslaw sandwich from the food leftover because all the restaurants were closed.

There's a really good one on my DeLorean thread. But I've got another one.
So you remember that snowstorm back in 2011? I was in a limo with my family a few hours later we got stuck not too far from my house. So my Dad and I proceeded to walk home and pick everyone else up. And they tried to arrest my Dad before he talked them out of it.
