Your fastest speed

Me n my mate went onto arcade mode split screen. Don't know if it affects the physics, but the Viper ACR fully tuned with the Veyron standard as a slipstream car. Viper hit the limiter at 276mph, and can be tuned to have no higher top end AFAIK.

Gonna tune they veyron and see what that will give now.

Only thing which can be faster is the NASCAR surely?

edit - same principle, veyron hit the limiter with the longest gearing - 286mph

edit again - approached the limit with less acceleration, saw 287mph on the speed before it dropped from hitting the limiter.

I only did 236 with my green lambo sv on ssr7 in the tunnel. I wish they would have included the top speed test and quarter mile test like in Gt4.

A smart developer would set the 0-60 and 0-100 runs on the runway of the TG test track - we know they have the runway fully modelled as it's used in the license tests. All they would need to do is model a TG "helper" in a white coat and clipboard to stand next to you and drop a flag, and off you would go!

back on topic, my best is 267mph in a tuned Veyron on the Mulsanne straight.

I had totally forgotten about SSR7, i reckon over 300mph would be possible with the right gearing and a couple of other Veyrons to get a tow off.....
 
Mach .3511 in the Veyron at LeMan. It's funny when the front end bounces off the track.

Could go faster if they would let us raise 7th gear. :ouch:
BTW, Mach .3511 = 267mph :dunce:
 
McLaren F1 Stealth Car - 236 mph on SS7 return trip.

I was racing a ZR1 that accelerates like an SOB and has a higher top end. I'll have to find out from the guy what his max speed is.

Oh and I also think if I adjusted the transmission on the F1 I could probably get 250, as there was more RPM's but the acceleration tailed off.
 
Point of top speed testing is to see what the car can do naturally, this includes the air resistance which slows down a car dramatically. So sorry if I don't care if someone gets their Veyron to 287, or something. Not impressive drafting. But for myself, I haven't even tested the Veyron yet. Don't even care at this point. I only top speed test fully tuned cars, so it takes a while. Hence why the Veyron will sit for a long time, no interest in wasting money on that boring car without an interior view. But yea, so far the fastest for me are these two:

1. 242 MPH - Chevorlet Corvette ZR1 (905 HP)
2. 240 MPH - Lamborghini Murcielago LP-640 Chrome Edition (871 HP)

And the slowest car I've tested so far is my favorite car to actually race:

190 MPH - Autobacs Arta Garaiya (503 HP)
 
350Km/h on my almost stock ACR Viper on SS route 7. Did´nt expect to reach more than 300. I´m very impressed with my baby, that´s why I love it!
