Well this is pretty much as it says in the title, who are your favourite actors and actresses, and who are the ones you just plain don't like?

Im going to get the ball rolling, Jeff Goldblum borders on atrocious for me. He has starred in some very big films, the Independence Day and the Jurassic Park films spring to mind but i can't for the life of me work out why. His style just infuriates me, he is constantly stuttering and pausing and kills the mood.
His role in the Independence has some comedic elements and it also requires his to really get his skills out, but he falls completely flat on his face and tarnishes an otherwise epic movie.

Here's a quick video to show you what i mean:

As for best i think Viggo Mortensen is amazing, he has shown himself as a pretty good all rounder, although his roles as a whole lack tomfoolery. Apart from the odd humorous line in LOTR. But in those films he really provided a class act, he proved himself adept at action and toe to toe combat, as well as gritty down to earth acting.
But my favourite film he has starred in is The Road, just pure damn good acting, it's an incredible film and i encourage all that haven't to watch it. And those that already have to watch it again!

I hate Julia Roberts and Meryl Streep. They seem to be perpetually Female dog-y and carry no ability to act outside of their predetermined role that they play in every movie. I honestly hope that by the end of this decade that their acting careers will be in tatters

Jeff Goldblum was in Earth Girls Are Easy (a huge cult film here in the US) and The Fly. Plus, girls think he's charming and sexy. I don't see that myself, but girls can be goofy like that.

In noway do I LOVE the dude, but let's be truthful, here. He didn't ruin Independence Day. That movie sucked just well enough without him in it. Trust me.

I actually do like Jeff Goldblum, thank you very much. He played in some great and well known movies like Independence Day and Jurassic Park 1 and 2 and he is also great in the recent seasons of Law and Order:Criminal Intent.

Will Smith has been disappointing lately. I love the actor, and he does some amazing work, but lately, I don't know, it is like buyer's remorse with him.

One actor that I do not like, but he does spit out some gems every now and then is Kevin Costner. Every role that he has been in he overplays the role that it just turns out scarey. In fact, the last movie that I liked out of him was 'The Postman', and that was 10+ years ago.

Jason Statham, especially for his roles in Crank and Lock, Stock. Other favourite of mine is Robert Downey Jr, pretty good at a wide variety of characters, loved him in Sherlock Holmes and Tropic Thunder, have yet to see Iron Man...

Robert Downey Jr is pretty funny, I didn't realize that he was in Days of Thunder and Talladega Nights until just recently.
Hugh Grant is bleh because he plays the same role everytime.
And I like John Cusack for some reason, and George Clooney, he was great in O Brother Where Art Thou.
