Hi guys,

So I was just curious about which tracks are most popular for testing your tunes.

I didn't include the variations of the tracks as that would have made the poll ridiculous

Do leave a comment as to why, and which variation you like to use.

Deep Forest (reverse) or Trial Mountain
Why? Both have good mix of most types of tracks. Switchbacks, elevation changing turns, high speed turns and decent straights. The main reason I wouldn't do "The Ring" would be because while it has more of everything it's far to long of a course to test on.

Grand valley speedway is my test track. It's the test track i use for road course tuning. Deep forest and trial mountain require too soft suspension settings for most other tracks because of all the bumps and hills. If you're getting 1:50:00 lap times on Grand valley, you're doing good.

Tsukuba or Road Course Indy for flat track testing depending on how fast the car is. Settings that work here will generally work at Nurb GP/D/F, Monza, Fuji, Lemans etc.

Deep Forest/Deep Forest Reverse/Trial Mountain for twisty, bumpy, cambered corner track testing. Settings other than transmission that work here generally work at the Nurb, Eiger, Trial Mountain Reverse etc.

Grand Valley East is often a track I use to push a car to it's limits as that one downhill section after the esses where you are full out in 5th gear and trying to turn, brake and downshift into 2nd all at the same time, is a real test for a many cars.

I tune pretty quickly so I try to stick to shorter tracks that I can run a couple of laps on under 3 minutes and come in for adjustments.

I'll just use whatever takes my fancy, really. I've tested tunes on a number of tracks before and it usually just works everywhere else.

GVS is good for me. The track surroundings are boring so I don't get distracted and there is a good variation in turns. Turn 1 is a great test of stability coming off the front straight flat out.

Nurburgring Nordschleife. WHY? The karusel tests the car's suspension system to the limit. The whole course pushes you and machine to the limit.
