I can't remember all the PS games I have.  My last purchase, I believe, was Star Wars: Starfighter for my PS2.  An amazing game, although it's a little short.  The last level is impossible!

I agree.  I don't think I've ever continued to play a game this long after I've bought it.

Well i know i haven't. I haven't stopped playing this game since i got it in March last year.....................but i have never gotten over 58% completion.
I'm at 30 something % now, and rising.

Oh, did your game screw up or did you start over on purpose?

I think it has only ever screwed up once. I have restarted the game about 5 or more times so far.

Oh, I had been doing great on my game, but then my memory card died on me.  Not only did I loose all of my GT and GT2 info, but all the other PS games I owned.  I was also working my way through Final Fantasy 7 at the time...

Once when i hired out a Ps2, i saved GT2 after i played it in the Ps2, and then went to play it on the Playstation, but it said 'AUTOLOAD FAILED'
And another time i accidently saved on the wrong memory card, right on top of another save i was working on.

Man, that sucks.  I use my PS2's memory card to back-up my game every once in a while, so hopefully I'll never loose it again.

Well, you can't directly save your game on the PS2 card, but the PS2 card will hold PS1 data.  You have to use the transfer feature in the PS2 to copy the save file over to the new card.  Then, if you want to play on your backed-up file, you'll need to copy (and therefore, over-write) the file back to the old card.

I love the new PS2's cards, though.  It seems almost unlimited.

Well, don't throw out the Dexdrive just yet.  You can only have one save file per game on the PS2 card, unfortunately.

Mine's the official.. So try transferring more than one of the same game file to make sure it works.
