I cant belive some of you pay $10 a month for internet that is win. That goes to around $20 over here (really rough estimate) and we pay $59 a month for failnet on the previous page with 80GB quota. Hopelessly hopeless. Sometimes I just wish Australian technology is cheaper...

I pay $60 for 15GB a month. (up until a couple of months ago $40 for 5GB) Broadband is extremely expensive and there is very little options for ISP's in the rural area i live in. :ouch:

Thats ridiculous Thiele, I also worked out that we pay 49 a month, not 59. Its still alot but definately nothing to complain about compared to yours Thiele.

Yeah, and as i said we have a very limited choice of ISP's too, also we have a very poor connection, which drops out almost every day, sometimes for hours. It is very frustrating, but we had no broadband coverage at all where i live until 2006, stuck on dialup til then, so it was a lot worse :ill:.

EDIT: Also, it's 20GB a month for $59, not 15. :dunce:

1Mbit and unlimited downloads for U$30 a month. :(

My broter-in-law pays the same for a 10Mbit connection, but his company doesn't cover my area yet.

I was having such a problem (intermittent disruption of service) with my 7.1 service, which I was paying $29 a month, I decided to downgrade my service. I now have 3Mb/s for $19 a month.

I officially HATE Verizon.

7 mbps and unlimited download for only 18 bucks a month.

20mbps and unlimited downloads for £10 a month ($16.70)

I see you're on Sky too! :D

10mbps and unlimited downloads for £5 a month ($8.35)
Ok this is just ridiculous. :indiff: :( :ouch: :grumpy: :ill:

About $20AUD? So i pay 3 times more and get 1mbps and (stirctly) limited downloads. :ouch:

I'm on holiday here in Melbourne, 'Fast Internet' cafe for 3.50 for 30 mins. This isnt a bad speed considering a kid behind me is using youtube:grumpy:

 £88 for 20mbps and a 60gb limit!

here i think the fastest is 50mbps unlimited downloads for £35 a month.

The fastest in my area is 1.5mbps (which is what i've got)

I tell you what, i could just about move out of this country, the cost to move would soon be covered by how much i save on internet costs in just about any other country. :grumpy:

EDIT: Dropped out loading this page, just had to refresh 6 times before it loaded fully. :banghead: The worst thing, this is the only ISP that does broadband here i think.

I've got a DSL. Relatively quick, quick enough for me, but sometimes faulty to the point of humilation for me.

Aye, 50mbps on Virgin's fibre-optic deal.

If you've got a virgin line (giggity) you can get the first three months for £18, then it goes up to £28.

Average UK connection is something like 4.3mbps

Edit:

Just downloaded a 50 MB file in 30 seconds. Quickest I've ever done a file in. That was from a FTP with no one else accessing it. Still, nice to see it going so quickly.

I just upgraded it, I can really tell the difference. I can now watch YouTube video's without waiting or pausing it.:)

If you're using a password to protect your wireless connection then it should be just a BrT problem (now OI). They tend to over use the lines with too many connections, so when there's a lot of people using the internet the speed is crap.

Yes, and sometimes the over use line connection cause instability, and result in this above, or the connection fall down, making me re-start the modem.
