What kind of stereo do you have? I have a 200 watt technics amp, Phillips 5 disc cd changer, and 15 inch subwoffers, 3X7 inch horn tweeters and 4 inch midrange merak speakers, i have a picture below. It's kinda funny since my subwoffers are just about as big as my tv

In the living room, I have a Sony STR-DB940 Dolby Digital Receiver, connected to a Sony DVD-S725P DVD player. Speakers are Bose Acoustimass 15 - 5 pairs of little cubes and a sub.

In the study I've got a bastard thing. It's a Technics SA-EX500 Dolby Prologic Receiver, Sony MD-JES510 Minidisc Deck and an ancient (but excellent) Marantz CD-63 IISE CD player. These are connected to a pair of Bang & Olufsen Beovox700 speakers. I've also got an Altec Lansing THX-Certified 4.1 Dolby Digital speaker kit for the computer.

Yeah, i guess i also have two other stereos too, i have a cambrige soundsworks deal with two satelittles and a 4 inch sub for my computer, and a piece of crap sharp in my bedroom with two crap speakers. It has a wake up timer on it so instead of waking up to my my raido alarm clock i use that, that's about all i use it for

I have an old Sharp stereo with cd changer(dont work) and tape deck(dontwork). I have a RCA 5disc cd changer hooked up to it. Then I only have one 3way bass speaker. Damn I need money to buy a set of speakers.

Stereo..., Ok. Let me brake down the system I use at gigs for our set-bake music.

Speakers:
Front Of House
2-JBL 15" with Horns
2-JBL 15" subs/mid-bass
2-Peavey 18" BW Subs
1-15" with Horn Monitor
2-12" with Horn Monitors
Stage Monitors
2-JBL SR4702X 12" two-way
2-Carvin stage wedges loaded with 12" JBL drivers, two-way
1-Custom Wedge with EV 15" driver, two-way

Amps:
2-Crown CE1000 1000w - 2ch amp
1-Crown CE2000 2000w - 2ch amp

This is our portable stereo setup... :D It cranks pretty good. I'd love to play some GT3 on a big screen with this setup running... ;)

Nice!! I got 4 Big Speaker's pumpin around 400 watts.
Thats all i got with 5 or 6 CD Disc Changer. 36' TV

My Friend's older brother is getting 8000 Watt Subs for $1000, 2 of them so 16000 watts for $2,000. I don't believe him. But that sounds mad. eh?

I think your friend's older brother took a little trip on the BS train.

i have a kinda cheap onkyo surround sound system, i can play my cds on my (also kinda cheap but also works really well) ge dvd player, but the cool part is i can hook my computer to the surround sound and really blast the winamp ( i have a really cheap 3 piece subwoofer speaker system that came with my custom built computer)...

Stereo = Sony model STR-DE875 with DTS

Speakers = JBL Studio Series, 5.1

TV = Sony model KD-34XBR2 HDTV

Recorder = Zenith HDR-230 High-definition Hard Drive Recorder (80mb) with digital audio out to my receiver and component to my HDTV

Player = Some cheap Sony VHS VCR(to play all my old tapes)

Satelite Receiver = RCA Directv model, oops don't remember but it has digital audio out to my receiver.

OTHER = PS2 with component out and digital audio out to receiver

= RCA msn(web)tv box, but currently looking for a cheap and simple computer to replace this slow piece of crap!
:D

Do you have any problems with your TV turning funny colors, Acid?

I have:

Harman/Kardon HK3370 Stereo Receiver

Paradigm Studio/20 speakers

Panasonic RA60 DVD-Audio player

All wiring by AudioQuest

Ph33r. :D

How do you like the Paradigm Studio 20's without any subs?

BTW - Nice Signature... :D

I like them quite a bit. They're good well into the 30-cycle range, so they have solid, quick bass with a good amount of authority.

However, they improve immeasurably when mated with a Servo 15... :D

You had all that hooked up in your closet? Dang dude, I bet your neighbors were a little upset when you would crank it up, eh? :D

That setup is for our band when we are out and about doing our shows..., I can't imagine what it would sound like in a small enclosed area.
