I like the weight shifting. Makes driving exciting. Maybe these were some ideas for GT5's cockpit view and new weight shifting features. Hopefully it's optional to enable on and off for those that like it and those that don't.
GTR2 has motion shifting similar to this when turning into the apex. The game allows for you to adjust how much of an effect it has.
It's got nothing to do with PD's palns, it's a gameshark code, you know, when you hack into the games actual code and modify it. The loose camera is the same as in the chase view, only because you in the car, and as a result, so close to the car it seems more pronounced.
i raced like that too. sucahyo found a code how to get cockpit view in GT4 but thats the only view he got. and its not the best since it makes racing like that a bit harder.
i tried it once in the F1, since its in the center, and if u turn at high speeds the camera goes under the track...so its not really that much of a good cam
does that mean PD modelled the cockpits for all the cars in the game??? why would they do that when no one is going to see them??? i dont get it. and how do u just make ur own view up, this is amazing.
That's the convertible 350Z you can actually see a modeled interior in those, I don't know if they did it for cars that you can't see into the interior of but I doubt it. I think it's more then coincidence that he used the convertible 350z.
gamespot talked about the fact they are doing interior views for GT5. and that they need work on the fact hands dont move on gear changes and what not. but this is certainly a concept.
Nope, only on the convertibles as has already been said in the thread. You can get that camera in any car, but in cars where you never seen the top down or in tin tops the interiors are not modelled.
After watching this video, I'm confident that PD will be doing something about the hand motion for shifting in GT5. This is only a GT4 gameplay video and you can clearly see the driver reaching down for the shift lever. This means that they already know what they are doing in providing realistic driver animation.
