I'm running the 24 hours of Le Mans in B-Spec in a Sauber C9 and my bobs were doing great this morning at 14 hours in! But I check just now and at 22 hours, all of the cars are driving around at 50mph because they've run out of fuel and tire life! Every lap, the poor exhausted bobs try to pit but just pass through pit lane and keep driving. The menu no longer shows up when I pit...Each lap is currently longer than 10 minutes. This has been going on for a very long time apparently, as only 273 laps have been completed in 22.5 hours...

This is ridiculous!!! I can't even suspend the race! Helppppp!

It's now raining and I cannot switch to rain tires...PD is really starting to make me upset as this is the second time a similar incident has occurred > For their sake, the race better end when 24 hours is up...the last time this happened, the cars kept going after 9.5 hours on the Tsukuba enduro...

Maybe actually keep an eye on the race rather than let it go 14 hours without checking in! You still need to watch what's going on or else, what's the point?

I watched it periodically the first four hours and let it go over night. I woke up at 6 a.m. and Bob was doing great! Sent him in for a pit stop and let him on his way after watching for about an hour. I checked again when I came home from school and planned to watch over the last 2 hours...but was disappointed severely :/ I have no idea what happened!

But I finished the race and received my credits...then I had to quit the game as I got stuck on a loading screen :/

Edit: FINALLY! Thank goodness I managed to secure that win!!! I'll be sure to watch more closely next time!

There are some glitches that seem to come up now and again. For example I was doing a "License Day" because I was just racing till then but decided that I wanted to have all the Ls. So I go from B upto halfway through IA and as it's saving, it just stays on that screen. PS button doesn't bring up dashboard. So restarted and then it said cannot load save but backup was found, which took me nicely back to B and a couple of UCD cycles :l

Sounds like your game froze - tip is to not shut the PS3 down whilst the HDD light is still flashing as the game is in mid-save at that point. Shutting down will corrupt the current save. Just wait until it stops blinking at you

Luckily PD initiated a backup save on the XMB which is the one the game found for you to restore - I learned the hard way, before that feature was added.

I too thought by waiting it could save, but the orange light wasn't flashing and the screen itself was stuck (nothing moves but there's a sort of shimmering effect on the GT logo on that screen normally and it wasn't), so I assumed it had saved but was stuck on the screen, after waiting 5mins I did the silly. But what other choice? I am the most impatient person on the planet and I doubted waiting longer would change anything

5 mins is anything but impatient you did it right then, so I've no idea why it would corrupt.
