With the transformation of Garage D-Material completed i'm here to represent: Zen Garage.

Zen Garage is a family of chilled, skillful, and respected drivers that have come together to drift and simply have fun with one another. ZG does not tolerate hate or anything around that nature. We will be hosting events on GT6, Rfactor, and Live for Speed as we increase our family.

Hello everyone, the name is Chris but i'm known as Sai on GTP and on PSN. I learned about drifting back in 2003 as I saw some of the old D1GP footage at that time and wasn't really interested in it, as I was a die-hard drag racing fan. Fast forward two years and I went to see the Drifting World Championship and saw Vaugn Gitten Jr's Teal Mustang and I fell in love with it. I started to play GT5 on release. Coming from the Forza drift scene I had high hopes for this sim. Never really checked out GTP but i was known by a lot of people. First team I ever joined was Notorious Racers or NRz for short. Loved the atmosphere of the team and started to grow my drift love. After a long break from GT5 I came back and joined MLD, that same week. (Which was the goal I wanted to accomplish ever since I saw them on youtube and it progressed from there.) After an unfortunate situation I left MLD. I joined RSM a few months later and met a new breed of team.. Well not a team, a family. Now I wanted to start something for myself, so here it is: Zen Garage. It is a team that brings drivers together from newbies to veterans to have a great drifting time.

Hey there. I’m Dominique, a.k.a. Dom. I’m a 21 year old young lady with a passion for drifting. I’m somebody that is known as one of the more ‘purist’ drifters. Low powered rear wheel drive cars are my favourites. I’ve been a member of a couple of teams as well, like Sai. Nemesis and JDM-T, for example which didn’t work because of the time zones. Burst lost its appeal after losing some of the core members.
What I’m looking to create with Zen, is simple. A team to support beginners entering the community in the right way. A team to boast those names that other people will respect and accept.

Well, I was a hopeless young kid when I started drifting on games. After the first time I saw street-drifting, there I was on gt3, trying it out.

Using a 180sx with 500 hp was problematic. Couldn't handle it so I kept practicing on it, starting from the bottom. Getting to a decent level of drifting, (drifting everything), in a couple of months time lol.

But I’ve always stayed true to drifting, with my camber setup 2.5 front and 3.0 at the back. I never ever drifted with anyone in my whole life of drifting on games.
Then gt4 came out, (struggling for months), and playing Forza as well. I was better on Forza than I was on GT4, but yeah I went online on the 31st of January in 2006.

I was teamless: never knew the good drifters or teams. Had to adapt to everyone, teaching myself to control the cars better than any other. After a while I got in a drift club called, D1DK, drifted for them but drifted my first car on their it was a S14.

I’m a quiet person. Some think I’m anti-social , but in real life I’m actually quite talkative.

My name is Bahaa, I'm 24 years old from lebanon Middle east.
I'm known on PSN as The_kingB_ and my friends on GTP/PSN call me "B".

I Got My PS3 back in 2008 and had only 1 DISK which was GT5 prologue. First, I was a DS3 user but there was something missing.
Then the world changed when I bought a logitech DFGT. It was like learning to walk all over again with the 900 degrees.
When GT5 came out, the DFGT was getting old and slow so it was time to move to the "G": In 2012, it was also a big move when I bought my friend's used G25.

Since My internet was bad I did'nt even have a clue about the Online drifting experience. I used to just drift offline and shoot replays off my tv screen and post them on youtube.
After seeing the interest in my youtube Videos and the comments inviting me to drift online from the PSN users... I had to Try it.

So I joined GTP Team Burst on GT5 from its beginning.
Now on GT6 I got Invited By Dom (Nyordia) to join Zen and I'm excited to Improve myself and help other team members Improve as well and maybe switch this team to another All 900 Degrees wheel users :D

Also 2012 was when I first Started Drifting in Real life: I had a BMW E36 320ia (A = automatic) and it didnt Even had an LSD... Long story there but Now it has a 4.0 V8 and a proper 6-speed manual + a GREAT LSD and a hydrolic Ebrake.

Hey, I’m Xanos. I haven’t always been into cars or drifting, but when I got into it, I got hooked really hard.
In 2012, I started drifting on Forza 4 and I loved it, so I bought a Madcatz MC2 and that was my first experience with wheel drifting. The MC2 gave way after about a year of work. After “mourning” the loss of my first wheel, I bought rFactor and a Logitech DFGT.
Getting used to force feedback was a challenge, but I got a handle of it in about a week. Then one day, I stumbled across Valdudes’s YouTube channel and found the appeal of GT6. I got a PS3 as soon as was possible at the time and I got GT6. While watching Valdudes’s videos and his streams, I caught a comment about GTP and I had to check it out. After 10-15 minutes of browsing the drifting forums, I met Sai and here we are.

I've been drifting since the beginning of GT5.
I have played the GT series off and on since the beginning.
I've been on a few teams off and on, mainly BNR, as well as a short stint on Alpine.
My car of choice has always been the Camaro SS '10.
Yes, I'm the guy with the light green camaro.
I live in then New England region.
Most recently had to part ways with my KA-T s13 180sx Type-X replica, for personal reason.
I've been following drifting since roughly 03/04.
One of my favorite drifters, has and will always be Dai Yoshihara.
I still see him as the guy in the Rockstar S13.
Of course another favorite will be Ryan Tuerck, since he is a local.
I currently shoot media, mainly video. Follow me there to see how us New Englander's get down.

Below is my gaming channel, which is primarily focused around GT6 drifting.

Team colours

The official team color is Moulin Rouge, for rims. Body colour is free of choice: Our members will not be forced into using it unless in a comp or in a team meet. Their main 3 cars should be in these colors.

Car choices

Basically, anything RWD goes really. We tend to stick to FR – JDM.

The team uses Comfort Hards ONLY. We believe that this is the best tire choice because of a couple of reasons, and will always use this compound no matter what.

Recruitment

Recruiting by invitation only. No try-outs, people have to be recommended by current team members or respected GTP drifters. We are looking for:

1) Decent personality

2) The will to learn/improve

3) Communication will be done via ingame chat as well as Skype.

Good luck with the team, ohhh so that AAO room I joined you two were in makes so much sense now cause I recognise the PSN next to Gonales name.

Never saw this one coming. Good Luck guys.

Same here, this was a planned thing i wanted to do with RSM to give back to the community and introduce new people to the scene. Dom was nice enough to come along and help.

Good luck with the team! Oh and Sai told me to ask you for advice on my DFGT's settings.

Sure, I personally run 8 FFB, Realism settings and power steering off. Can go a bit lower on FFB but I'd not go below 5. :) Add me on PSN if you want. :)

HaHa, funny laughs today with sai, in dom, but I couldn't see worth 🤬 on my brother in laws TV :grumpy:.
