(from Pagani Press Release) Juan Manuel Fangio was much more than a great champion. His accuracy, his uprightness, and his human and technical sensibility were among his qualities, typical of the old-time men, they have been for me, an example and an inspiration source. Very often, I ask myself how something so material, like a drawing or a technical choice, can express and convey the philosophy of such a men. The name of “el coche”, the way he used to call the car, should have been Fangio F1. He followed the project with a strong enthusiasm, according to his ideas the F1 had to be innovative, safe and had to be powered by a Mercedes-Benz engine. He then passed away and as a sign of respect I did not dare to call the car Fangio F1 and I decided to name it Zonda, “el viento de los Andes”. Today, after years spent in a rigorous search for perfection, the result is the Zonda F, a car that I wish to dedicate to Juan Manuel Fangio, the man who has made everything different.

~Pics redone thanks to Pimp.
Sorry for the size. :)

The original Zonda was much more nicer, I think this one is simply weird with tri-headlights and taillights. :indiff: But then again my opinions might change if I were to ever see this car in flesh...

Sidenote : The Zonda has one of the best engine sounds, ever. :D

McLaren F1GTR
They are.

That's just what it could look like.

Thanks Pimp. I've add the thumbnails to the first post.

No problem! :D I will try and get more. Right now me gonna play games! :D BTW they are photochoped by Pagani of course! :D

Am I reading that press release correctly that Fangio (THE Fangio) had input on the early development of the car???

I had not idea Fangio lived into the 90s (when the early dev work for the Zonda was done)...I figured he died in the 60s or 70s.

Or is Mr. Pagani smoking crack here?

I happen to like this new Zonda, better than the previous versions (though the roadster in red is my favorite). To me the more crass and crude the design of the Zonda is the better. Like The Enzo, the Zonda's charm is in it's lack of any charm and it's over the top'ness. Just raw crude over the top function and honesty. Sorta in the same vein as the Skyline, but with alot more of it.

As far as photoshop....more like high end Alias (3D modeler) style renderings...

Wow. Coolest Zonda I've ever seen. I think I like the Zondas little bit more after reading Pagani P.R. and seeing those cool pics. 👍

Not an improvement at all :indiff:

Looks like the kind of quick redesign Saturn would try, nothing befitting an exotic car maker such as Pagani.

The original Zonda deserves better.

Dude, Lamborghini has done the same thing before.
Its called the Diablo.

This is just another version of the Zonda. Just like there are different versions of the Diablo, or 911.

Hmm, Lamborghini upping the power of the Murciealago, the Zonda getting a freshening and a power boost, Steve Saleen hanging a pair of turbochargers on the S7, a supercharger option package on the Mosler MT900 Photon (personal favorite supercar of mine)......

Folks, we're in the middle of the single biggest power war to grace the supercar's lifespan. Who'd have imagined when the first Pegaso rolled onto the road that so many supercars that are capable of so much would grace tracks and streets the world over?
