ZR1 RM handling problems

Having read all the posts of this car I was expecting something that handled alot better. I am an amateur when it comes to tuning the cars suspension settings, I have tried and I see no improvements at all. Could anyone help me on this. I know there is a tune for this for the like the wind event buy would them suspension tunes help me in general. As it is i bought the car for the second last races in expert mode in A-spec. Sorry I forget the name of it but my fully tuned R35 gtr handles them racing cars better than the ZR1 RM. Any help would be greatly appreciated

Did you change/buy racing soft tires? The AI don't use racing hards, that could make a big difference. I took mine for a spin right off the transformation and it was hard to control with Racing hards, I managed to win the race by slowing down. Once completed I bought the Racing Softs, Blew everyone out of the track, its like night and day!

Yes have a set of racing softs on and I still find it hard to steer. I haven't gone near down force. How do you adjust this setting

Once you have Race Modded it, you need to go into settings before the race, under the Body/Chassis option, adjust the downforce to the maximum number it will go to for both front and rear. You will still need to be fairly easy on the throttle though.

ZR1 is a hit-it-and-then-quit-it type of vehicle, used it twice for "Like the Wind" and then I haven't touched it since. The only reason you ACTUALLY need is for the front lip downforce. Other than that it's a corvette that american muscle ain't to great for cornering I find.
