Community Bounty Hunter is a divisive topic in the land of Forza. While some welcome the challenge it provides, others are frustrated by the limitations imposed on game content through the event. Case in point: this month saw the feature return to the series, with a classic Aston Martin Vantage up for grabs (returning to the game after last being seen in Forza 4).
At the time of this writing, only 682 players have beaten Turn 10 team member RBW Triton’s time of 1:38.230. Represented another way, that’s less than 2% of the people that have attempted the challenge. That leaves a lot of unhappy players.
We here at GTPlanet understand the frustration. I certainly do: it took me well over 100 laps to beat that time! That’s why, as we head into the final few days of the month, we want to offer help to members of the community hoping to slide into the low 1:38’s.
Up top is my personal best, a 1:37.973. The replay shows the lap twice, with both exterior and interior views to help with on-track placement. Full telemetry is also visible to get a better idea of when to apply the brakes, since running in-game against ghosts isn’t always the most informative. Pay no mind to what seem like missed shifts: that’s an unfortunate glitch in replays that utilize manual plus clutch!
The tune on the car is provided by Forza player LMR Harmonic. Being such a heavy land yacht, the Wraith benefits most from reduced weight and increased grip. Harmonic is currently second on the board, with one of only two times in the 1:36’s, so his skills with the wrench are matched by those behind the wheel. Players should be able to simply find his time on the in-game leaderboards and download the tune straight from there. Of note: this is the same tune that RBW Triton used to set his current time as well.
Looking for general tips? GTPlanet member Im_Lukas has some helpful tips here about this… unusual car/track combo. As one of the fastest members of our community in this event, Lukas’ advice is invaluable for shaving time off the clock. Lukas also shared a tune that got him into the 1:37’s here!
We’re hoping this helps even a few more players collect an Aston in their garage come March. Keep in mind that while beating Triton guarantees the car, 100 lucky players will be picked at random from the leaderboards below his time as well.
Good luck to the fellow Wraith-wranglers! Pop on over to our Forza 6 section to discuss this and any other topics relating to the game.

This is really weird. The game tells me I best my rival 1:43 but it wasn’t Official. I swear I did not come off track. IDK maybe there’s a place where I went over the track a tiny little to much. It wouldn’t give me the 1:43. Having to give up it’s doing my head in to much.
One simple question, did you need a steering wheel to beat his time?
I tried with a standard controller and it seems impossible to even pass the 1:40 mark.
That lap was done with a controller: I don’t have an XB1-compatible wheel.
Wait what code
OH GOD that’s annoying
“Pay no mind to what seem like missed shifts: that’s an unfortunate glitch in replays that utilize manual plus clutch!”
That glitch still exists!?! I remember that in F3.
Yeah, it’s moderately annoying. Especially because it seems *different* than the last generation, but obviously not fixed.
I just didn’t want people to think I was mangling the shifts that badly!
It’s still there, huh? I wonder what line of code is causing it.
