Snow is once more falling around the UK to mark the start of another Winter season in Forza Horizon 4. Players will need to wear heavy jackets as the cold temperatures will bring challenging conditions for the latest events.
Offroaders and racers are on the cards for the prize pool this week, along with more rewards as part of completing the Playlist to 50% and 80%.
Snow Ploughs
Offroaders make up the playlist completion prizes this week, kicking off with the 2018 Range Rover Velar.
The fourth Range Rover in the lineup sits between the baby Evoque and the Range Rover Sport, along with more of a road-based focus. Despite having less ultimate offroad ability, the Velar will still be able to conquer tough terrain while offering a luxury experience.
While it wears a Range Rover badge, the Velar shares its mechanicals with the Jaguar F-Pace, which means a 3.0-liter supercharged V6 lies under the hood. With 375hp, the Velar has plentiful performance to charge down country roads in all conditions.
If you want something tougher, there’s the 2020 Jeep Gladiator.
Based on the Wrangler, this truck is the first pickup in the Jeep range for nearly 30 years. Even with the addition of the truck bed, the Gladiator’s ability to go anywhere remains intact. This particular variant is the flagship Rubicon trim level, giving maximum focus towards getting off the beaten track.
The Gladiator is powered by a 3.6-liter Pentastar V6 making a healthy 285hp, and enough torque to get you out of dirty situations.
Winter’s latest Photo Challenge is a combination of little and large. #MiniCarMassiveCastle wants you to snap a picture of any Mini you have over at the vast grounds of Bamburgh Castle.
The seasonal championship rewards pool features a largely racing theme, including the Mercedes Tankpool24 Racing Truck and Mercedes 300SLR.
Stepping away from the racers and offroaders, the main highlight is the 2019 Porsche 911 GT3 RS. Regarded as one of the most complete driving machines Porsche has ever made, the latest version of its track-honed 911 features incremental upgrades to stay at the top of the pecking order.
Based around the facelifted 991.2 generation 911, the GT3 RS makes further changes to the chassis and suspension in addition to the crash diet. The body has also been tweaked to produce much more downforce than the pre-facelift RS. Its 4.0 liter flat-six engine receives minor updates, but at 520hp, the RS is the most powerful Porsche not to use turbocharging or hybrid power.
You’ll have to win the “Potent Porsches” championship to bring the RS home.
The popular “Assault on the Control Room” Showcase Remix event returns this week as well. Step into the power armour of Halo’s iconic Master Chief and race a Warthog against a Pelican dropship.
Super7 also has more cards waiting should you want more of a challenge. Complete all seven and you’ll win a 2012 Ford Mustang Shelby 1000

Forzathon Events
We’re going back to the 80s for this weeks Forzathon, as one of the most technogically advanced cars of its time is in the spotlight: the 1987 Porsche 959. Jump aboard this high-tech supercar to get started.
Up next, demonstrate the 959’s surprising rally pedigree by winning 3 Dirt Racing Series Trail events. After that, rule the streets with the 959’s electronic chassis wizardry by winning 2 Street Scene events.
Finally, finish up this week’s challenges by testing your bravery and getting a total of 10 Ultimate Near Miss Skills.
Forzathon Shop
Grand touring supercars are the order of the day in the shop, with the 2017 Ferrari 812 Superfast front and center.
The replacement for the F12 Berlinetta may look more aggressive, but it keeps its motive of wanting to crush country level distances at great speed in comfort. Updates to the chassis aim to tone down the aggressive nature of the handling that the F12 showed.
Under the hood sits a new 6.5-liter V12 making 800hp, the most powerful, non-hybrid naturally aspirated V12 in a road car.
The 812 will cost you a hefty 600 Forzathon Points, which will get you what may be the last pure V12 engined Ferrari GT car in an increasingly hybrid-powered market.
If you want something even more exclusive, there’s the 2019 Bugatti Divo.
Named after 1920s racing driver Albert Divo, this Bugatti certainly ticks the exclusivity box with only 40 units ever made. The dramatically styled body harks back to Bugatti’s coachbuilding past as well as giving modern touches.
Those changes aren’t just visual either, as the Divo has more downforce than the Chiron on which it’s based, sacrificing top speed for improved handling.
The powertrain from the Chiron remains untouched, with the 8.0-liter quad turbocharged W16 making a colossal 1,479hp. Couple that to the chassis improvements and you’ll be able to use all that power when thundering along a twisting country road.
At 300 FP, the Divo offers a cheaper propostion and a great head turning alternative to those who find a Chiron too common.
Clothing items this week are the Quack! and Shark Wellies.
