The latest Forza Horizon 5 series begins today, marking the start of a four-week stretch of events and rewards mainly centering on cars you can drive quickly every day of the week.
High Performance Dailies is all about those all-rounders: cars you can drive to the shops, to work, or with your family in every day, or drive flat-out round a race track with no shame. Accordingly, all four of the new cars are range-topping performance variants of five-seat, and four- or five-door cars.
As there are only four new cars — available for hitting 20pt in each of the four seasons — that means there’s no new overall Series reward, but there is a chance to pick up a rare car you might have previously missed.
Four new Apex Racing routes also make a debut this month, with new Accolades for each, but with no new DLC pack either and the map reverting to its standard form, it’s a pretty quiet month — but we’re expecting to hear more about some new things PG has in store next month soon…

Series 37: High Performance Dailies
There’s slightly fewer points available this Series — in fact the joint-lowest in 2024 at 288pt. They’re split up evenly to 72pt per season, and due to the 56pt available from the DLC packs you’ll need only 232pt to class the Series as complete.
Neither of the overall reward cars are new, but both are Playlist exclusive. They’re the BMW M2 for 80pt across the Series, and the all-electric Lucid Air Sapphire at 160pt in total.
Series 37 Summer/Wet Season Rewards
Scoring 20 points across this season’s challenges will award you with the new Ford Focus ST, while its Korean rival the Hyundai i30 N is available when you hit 40pt.
Summer will run until 1430UTC on Thursday August 22, while Series 37 will continue for a further three weeks until the same time on Thursday September 12.
Series 37 Summer Playlist: Forzathon Events
This week’s Forzathon Weekly Challenge requires the Audi TT RS ’10. Each of the seven Daily Challenges — one new event each day at 1430 UTC — awards its usual point.
There’s nothing exceptionally difficult in the challenges this week, but you can double up the Weekly with the final Daily and also the PR Stunts if you retune the TT to A Class (701-800PI). One even duplicates a chapter of the Weekly…

Series 37 Summer Playlist: Season Events
Season Events make up just under half the points available this week, and you’ll need at least Xbox Live Core (unless you play on PC) in order to access online multiplayer for The Trial.
This permanent fixture is an online team championship challenges for players against a six-strong field of “Unbeatable” AI players requiring teamwork to win the best-of-three event.
For the PR Stunts you’ll need any A Class (701-800PI) Modern Sports Car — and the TT RS you’ll use in the Weekly Challenge not only fits perfectly but also requires you to complete the same Speed Zone.
Two Seasonal Championships await, with the Mud Runners dirt racing event for A Class (701-800PI) Sports Utility Heroes and the Muscle Bound road racing event for S1 Class (801-900PI) Modern Muscle cars.

Series 37 Summer Playlist: Challenges
You’ll need to photograph your car with your character outside it, at the steps of the university in Guanajuato for the #BackToSchool challenge; look for the mortarboard icon and head to the south edge of the connecting street.
For the Treasure Hunt, Pole Position, you’ll need to score at least one star at any Trailblazer in the Volvo V60 Polestar; City Escape is the easiest, we reckon. That reveals the Treasure Chest which is in a tricky place this week. You’ll need to jump off the big ramps onto the second-level platform around the main building at Ek’Balam, then head to the north-west corner.
Online multiplayer access is required for the World Wide Web event, which sets you the challenge of completing any Horizon Open race in a car that has “Spider” (or “Spyder”) in the name. This may mean waiting for an appropriate class/category hopper for the small number of applicable vehicles.
Horizon Open: World Wide Web*
