Forza Horizon 5 Season Change: Hidden in Plain Sight

Forza Horizon 5’s “Hidden Horizons” series has entered its final week with some more new Playlist challenges geared around hiding and seeking.

Bringing a brand new game mode to the title, the series is all about finding things. The new mode, Hide & Seek, is the key feature to this, with an event and some challenges in the Playlist each week throughout. There’s also new Accolades available for the mode, with some new Achievements to follow next month.

A stadium make-over brings a maze into the mix. You’ll need to become familiar with this location as there’s several challenges that require you to explore it — including all four Treasure Hunts.

It’s a slightly smaller new car list this month, with just four new reward cars available — although there is a fifth delivered for free to all players. Each of the new rewards is available at 20pt within each of its respective seasons.

Table of Contents

Series 38: Hidden Horizons

Series 38 is a full-fat, 300-point playlist, with 75pt distributed equally across the four seasons. However it is a bit multiplayer-heavy — Hide & Seek being a multiplayer mode — but it’s still possible to hit your 40pt target each week without that or the 14pt from the DLC.

As there’s only four new cars, as rewards each season, the two overall Series rewards aren’t newcomers. They are both are Playlist-exclusives though, and both Nissans. That’s the Tsuru for 80 points, and the Safari at 160 points.

Series 38 Spring/Hot Season Rewards

Overpowered, front-wheel drive madness is the theme this week, with the new Volvo C30 Polestar as the 20-point reward. Hitting 40 points gifts you the Abarth 695.

Winter will run until 1430UTC on Thursday October 10, bringing Series 38 to a close alongside it. We’ll find out more about Series 39 later today.

Series 38 Spring Playlist: Forzathon Events

This week’s Forzathon Weekly Challenge moves to a classic, as the Jaguar E-Type ’61 stars. Seven more Daily Challenges — one new event each day at 1430 UTC — are also available for a point each.

There’s a couple of opportunities to double-up on events this week. Finding the Treasure Chest in a Mini will help with the first Daily, while saving your Speed Trap attempt for a day will help with the second. It’s quite a straightforward set this week.
