Players looking to get a taste of Forza Motorsport 6 will be able to do just that this weekend. Starting late last night, the 2015 title was made a part of Xbox Live’s Free Play Days initiative, allowing gamers to test drive any of the 460+ cars the game launched with back in September of last year.
FM6 improved on numerous aspects of its predecessor, which was a launch title for the One back in 2013. The car list swelled to over double FM5’s, rain and night racing were introduced, and grids were bumped up to 24 cars on track. For a more detailed breakdown of what the game offers, you can check out our original review.
The 49.96 GB download is free for all Xbox players with a current Gold subscription until 11:59 PST on Sunday August 28. After that point, gamers will need to purchase the title if they want to continue playing.
It seems the Forza franchise is going on the offensive in the build-up to Horizon 3’s launch next month. This news complements the availability of the first Forza Horizon as a free Backwards Compatible title starting September 1.
