Turn 10 has released a new patch for Forza Motorsport 7, focusing on bug fixes and putting an end to an in-game exploit.
Weighing in at around 250MB, the patch’s biggest change is to Forza Edition cars. Thanks to how the FE model perks were set up, players previously could level up very quickly. Now, Turn 10 has changed up all flat XP-earning perks for percentage-based credit ones.
What this means is that players that run longer races will find even greater rewards when driving a Forza Edition car. Crucially, it halts XP earning from simple time-based events. According to Turn 10, this has been done to maintain game balance.
Besides the Ram Runner FE exploit, the patch addresses another level-up method.
The patch fixes an issue with Forza Rewards, where players’ gifts were not saving properly. It also fixes a situation that could result in a disappearing track if a player used rewind repeatedly.
Lastly, Turn 10 has made various PC and multiplayer fixes.
