We’re back for the Specialty Dealer’s weekly refresh in Forza 7. With no end in sight, this week continues the trend of introducing new vehicles to the lineup.
With one returning vehicle, you’re in for a sporty good time this week. Without further ado, let’s take a look at what’s featured in this week’s lineup.
Specialty Dealer Lineup: June 26
- 2000 Plymouth Prowler (Uncommon +110; 64,400cr)
- 2005 TVR Sagaris (Rare +418; 241,500cr)
- 1981 Volkswagen Scirocco S (Common +50; 28,175cr)
First on the list is the Plymouth Prowler. Take one look at the Prowler, and its retro hot-rod styling becomes obvious. One of its most striking features is the open front wheels, no doubt inspired by the home-built specials of a bygone era. As a limited-run complement to the Viper, it holds many features the V10 car doesn’t, namely being a daily driver.
Power comes from a naturally-aspirated 3.5-liter V6 sending 253hp to the rear wheels. Weighing in at barely over 2800lb, the car burst to 60mph in 5.9 seconds and onto its limited top speed of 126mph. It may not be a speed demon around the track, but this Plymouth has a unique attitude and you can’t ask for much more than that.
Next up is the returning TVR Sagaris. Insane inside and out, a 4.0-liter inline-six powers the car, sending over 400hp to the rear wheels. Make no mistake, the Sagaris isn’t a sports car with manners in any way, shape or form.
Finally, there’s the second new car on the block: the Volkswagen Scirocco S from 1981. The hatch isn’t the speediest nor most powerful of the group. In fact, when it comes to power it only edges ahead of the Type 2 featured last week. From the 1.7-liter inline-four comes a modest 74hp, going to the front wheels.
With a weight of 2015lb, the Scirocco S is relatively light on its wheels, making it a fun cornering partner. While later generation models upped the ante, any VW aficionado will want the first-gen model in their collection.
Much cheaper than last week, 334,075 credits will secure all three without any hassle. We can’t wait to see what next week has in store.
