The biggest addition comes in the form of the 2024 Lamborghini SC63. This prototype marks the third modern GTP car to be added after the Porsche 963 and BMW M Hybrid V8. As with those cars, the SC63 is built to the LMDh regulations, allowing it to run in both IMSA and WEC. Lambo chose to run with Ligier as its main chassis maker and partnered with Iron Lynx to run the factory prototype effort.
Under the skin is a 3.8-liter, twin-turbocharged V8 mated to a standardised energy recovery system. With power capped at 670hp under balance of performance rules, the hybrid unit is mainly to improve fuel economy.
The SC63 has had a troubled gestation. A huge crash during testing caused considerable delays for the team and the car was only homologated at the eleventh hour. Despite running a full campaign in WEC, its debut IMSA season consisted only of the main endurance races as well as skipping the Daytona 24 Hours.
Over on the road car side, the 2024 Lamborghini Revuelto signals a new era for the brand’s flagship hypercar. With emissions regulations getting ever tighter, the replacement for the venerable Aventador needed to adopt electrification in order for its V12 to survive.
That 6.5-liter unit is a completely new design to accomodate a plug-in hybrid setup. On its own, the V12 makes nearly 800hp. Add three electric motors into the mix and power leaps to a combined 1,000hp. The Revuelto also features a new eight-speed dual-clutch transmission to replace the old-fashioned single clutch unit from the Aventador, resulting in smoother and much less violent gear shifts.

The newest tour is a feast of the fastest machinery on both road and track, with the Spotlight cars as the main event.

Forza Motorsport Update 18: Other Changes

Featured Multiplayer has undergone a number of revisions based on community feedback. Short length races have been increased from eight minutes to ten minutes long. Scheduling for short and medium length races has also been increased, while matchmaking has also been tweaked in order to improve lobby populations.
Audio improvements for this update only feature the 2007 Ferrari 430 Scuderia. That said, audio reworking for the 1997 Toyota Supra and 2020 Toyota GR Supra were meant to be included in the previous update, but were not implemented, so those two cars receive the updates this time.
Some UI changes include the addition of the Lap Counter in practice, timed and multi-class races for easier lap tracking. The last lap and best lap element have also been added to timed and multi-class events.
Lastly, the 1998 Nissan R390 has been moved out of Exotic GT Classic and into Early Factory Racecar and tuned to within the restrictions of that group.
