Anyone who’s played Forza for the last few iteration knows they can earn rewards by simply playing the game. For Forza Motorsport 7 Turn 10 is ramping up the incentives with a more generous Forza Rewards system.
For newcomers to the series, Forza Rewards is a system that gives you credits based on your Forza Score. Currently, there are 11 tiers in which you can earn rewards. This spans from Forza Motorsport 2 all the way through Forza Motorsport 6. The Horizon series also counts towards your score.
To earn points in your Forza Score, you need to accomplish various milestones from driving a certain number of miles or achieving a drive level. If you play any of the titles with regularity, earning rewards is actually pretty easy. Moving up in the tiers is slightly harder, but is still fairly straightforward even for a casual racer.
Rewards are also available to collect every week from either the Forza Hub or the Forza Rewards webpage. Once collected, they arrive in your game via the message center and you can download the credits.
The nice thing about the rewards is that the credits span titles. No matter which title you play, all other titles you own will get the credits when you collect. This will be handy for players who will switch back and forth between Forza Motorsport 7 and Forza Horizon 3.
With the introduction of Forza Motorsport 7, Turn 10 is bumping up the tier level from 11 to 12.
Every new player starts at Tier 2, which will earn them 25,000 credits per week by simply logging in. Rewards will continue to increase as you climb the tiers and once you hit Tier 11, you’ll be earning a cool 500,000 credits per week. It’s not a bad incentive to keep you playing the game.
If you’re new to the series and starting out at Tier 2, you’ll earn the Forza Motorsport 7 driver suit, a Tier 2 badge, and one prize crate. However, if you’re a long time player of the series and already at Tier 11, you’ll earn a driving suit from each title all the way back to the original Forza Motorsport. You’ll also get the Tier 2–11 badges and a whopping 10 prize crates.
In addition to the credit rewards, at launch prize crates will be awarded based on your tier level. Along with the prize crates, unique driver suits will also be awarded based on your tier.
The final welcomed change to the overhaul of the Forza Reward system is that player will no longer get rewards for buying DLC and Tokens. This was a sore point for many fans of the series. Thankfully Turn 10 listened to their feedback. Milestones will now purely focus on time played, driver level, and more so that everyone has an equal chance of earning rewards. Any previous Forza Rewards categories that required DLC or Tokens will automatically be maxed out on all player accounts.
With the release of Forza Motorsport 7 closing in quickly (tomorrow for early access players, October 3 for the rest), you still have time to bump up your Forza Score!
