The latest trailer for Season 2 of the Amazon show The Grand Tour hit the web earlier this week.
The teaser entices viewers with an exciting selection of modern cars including the Mercedes-AMG GT-R, McLaren 720S, and Audi TT RS. A few classics also show up with the Lancia Rally 037 and a Jaguar XJ6. There’s even a highly unusual tank-like vehicle known as the Ripsaw tearing up parts of Dubai.
A grand adventure in Mozambique looks like it’s on taps again for the second season. The boys made the trek there back in March. The trailer shows what appears to be a challenge between a motorcycle and a pickup truck. Readers may remember this as the trip where Richard Hammond injured himself when he crashed a motorcycle.
The trailer also shows a brief snippet of the Rimac Concept One. The now infamous hill climb in Switzerland is where Hammond managed a huge wreck. This left him with a fractured knee and delayed filming of the latest series.
Finally, we get some oddities in the trailer from a couple of airplanes to what looks like a jet powered car. We can only assume Hammond is not piloting the jet powered vehicle as we have heard no word of a crash.
The Grand Tour Season 2 is coming to Amazon Video later this year. We definitely look forward to watching it!
