A special login bonus campaign for Gran Turismo 7 will run over the 2024-2025 festive period, following a similar event in 2023.
The event was announced during the Gran Turismo World Series 2024 World Finals Nations Cup stream on Sunday, although specifics on what the campaign will entail are yet to be announced. World Series MC Jules Hardy noted on the stream that players would receive a “variety of festive in-game rewards, simply for logging in”.
That does sound similar to the campaigns in 2023-2024, which also saw two consecutive bonus periods with the same names — Holiday Season and New Year’s — and which ran from December 15 to December 25, and December 26 to January 7.
During those two periods, players would receive a bonus rewards every time they logged into Gran Turismo, up to a maximum of five rewards.
These increased in potential value sequentially, with the Holiday Season Login starting at a Six-Star (Parts) Roulette ticket for one day, up to a guaranteed 250,000cr ticket at five days. The prizes for the New Year’s Login were similar, topping out at a Five-Star Roulette Ticket at five days. All rewards were delivered to the Gifts section of your player Garage instantly.
What the rewards will be for 2024-2025 remain to be seen, but we’re expecting a relatively similar level of value.
Last year’s rewards for amounted to around a million credits and about half that again in savings through not having to purchase the awarded items and cars — which isn’t bad for doing virtually nothing. You could even log into the game on your phone or PlayStation Portal with Remote Play while in bed!
