Gran Turismo 7 Weekly Challenges: Super Fly

The first batch of Gran Turismo 7 Weekly Challenges for 2025 is starting to become available to players over the next few hours, unlocking as local clocks tick past midnight.

Weekly Challenges comprise five specially selected events across the spectrum of speed in GT7, with four existing World Circuits events and a fifth Special Events created just for the week — and it’s a bit of a spiky one this week.

There’s just 5,000cr on offer for winning the first event, a two-lap race of the Brands Hatch Indy Circuit in the Sunday Cup Classic. This requires only a road car, so you can either stick to the theme and get something old or just smash through it in a wildly overpowered but “#Road Car” tagged Vision GT — or anything in-between.

Our next-least valuable race is the European Clubman Cup 600 at the Sardegna Road Track A. Again the limitations are few, as you only need a road car from a European manufacturer for this three-lap race. While the lead AI are at roughly 600PP, you don’t need to adhere to that and can complete the race any way you see fit for its 25,000cr winner’s prize.

High Speed Ring Reverse hosts the next event, in the American Clubman Cup 700. Again, the 700PP notation is a mere suggestion and you’ll just need a road or “professionally tuned” (such as the SEMA award winners) car from a US-based brand. The five-lap race is worth 65,000cr for victory.

Two six-figure events await this week, with the first being in the World Touring Car 900 series. This event requires unlocking (if you haven’t already done so), and you’ll need a car that is at or below the hard cap of 900.00PP. It takes place over ten laps of the Nurburgring GP circuit, so we’re going to suggest braking, cornering, and acceleration prowess over straight-line speed if you want the 135,000cr prize for winning.

That leaves us with the Special Event for the week, which is an all-new Super Formula race. You can select either of the two models from either of the two seasons — the Honda- or Toyota-powered SF19 and SF23 — for this race, and racing tires are required even if that’s somewhat moot.

It’s a 15-lap race of the Dragon Trail Seaside circuit which, yes, includes the Chicane of Death. Tire degradation and fuel consumption rates aren’t that high — at 5x and 3x respectively — so you might not need that much by way of strategy. Don’t forget that the cars have an overtake boost feature too, which you’ll want mapped to a button somewhere if you’re aiming for the 200,000cr reward for the win.

For the fourth week in a row, the rewards are all in credit form. You’ll still pick up 100,000cr and 200,000cr tickets for completing one and three races respectively, but there’s a bonus this week to the prize for clearing all five events as you’ll land a 750,000cr ticket. Don’t forget that these are tickets to be redeemed from your Garage’s Gifts section, so you will need to claim them before they expire.

You’ll need to have completed GT Cafe Menu Book 39 and watched the ending movie in order to have access to the Weekly Challenges. The events update at midnight local time on Thursday evenings/Friday mornings, so we’d expect the next set on the morning of Friday January 10.
