The final set of Gran Turismo 7 Weekly Challenges for March 2025 is starting to become available, with the events ticking over once midnight arrives on Friday morning in your time zone, and bringing an opportunity to sample some of the content added in the 1.57 update.
Weekly Challenges consist of five events, with four that are races that already exist in the World Circuits menu, and a fifth “Special Event” that appears just for the week before vanishing into the ether. Checking off the events, by placing third or better in each, during the seven-day window awards bonus prizes that increase in potential value as you complete more events.
The lowest-value event this week comes from an event you may need to unlock if you haven’t already done so, in the Jimny Cup. You can pick either Jimny model for this two-lap race around the Sardegna Windmills course — so yes, you’ll need dirt tires — which awards 30,000cr for taking the win.
Two races featuring new content are tied for prize value, starting with the European FR Challenge 550 race at Autodrome Lago Maggiore’s East (not East End) layout. You’ll need a front-engined, rear-wheel drive car from a European brand for this five-lap race that offers 40,000cr if you place first.
It’s a one-make for an all-new car next, as the Renault Kangoo MPV takes center stage for a four-lap race at Tsukuba. As suggested above, it’s also a 40,000cr-value race if you can take the win, with no limits on vehicle tuning. There’s a lot you can do to a Kangoo with 40,000cr to play with, and you’ll need a little tuning as the AI cars aren’t exactly stock.
The final two races feature Performance Point (PP) capped events, beginning with the World Touring Car 600 at Grand Valley Highway 1. As the name suggests, you have a 600PP limit, but you can do anything you want to your car to get there. It’s a five-lapper and worth 92,000cr.
Finally there’s one of the highest-paying races in the game in the shape of the Gr.1 Prototype Series event at Circuit de Sainte-Croix C. This is another that will need unlocking, but once you do so you’ll find it’s not entirely accurately named: you can use any car you want so long as it has racing tires and doesn’t break the 950PP cap. It’s a long one, at eight laps of this rural circuit, but pays 210,000cr for the win. Just watch out for high tire wear and, particularly, fuel consumption.
There’s a mix of bonuses this week. You’ll get a Six-Star (Parts) ticket for completing any one race — awarding a special part at random from all several hundred in the game — while it’s a redeemable 150,000cr ticket for completing any three. Sweep the lot and you’ll get a Six-Star (Car) ticket, that can award any car from Brand Central (including Invitation vehicles) worth 500,000cr or above.
You’ll need to have completed GT Cafe Menu Book 39 and watched the ending movie in order to have access to the Weekly Challenges. The events update at midnight local time on Thursday evenings/Friday mornings, so we’d expect the next set on the morning of Friday April 4.
