GT Sport will finally release worldwide this week. One of the most exciting first moments you can have with a new Gran Turismo is seeing the intro when booting up the game. If you can’t wait for that moment, fear not, as we’ve the video right here.
The introduction may feel familiar to those who’ve been keeping up with latest news on the game. Most of the footage and music was shown off during this year’s E3 with a few new clips thrown in to complete the video. Namely, you’ll find a few more Porsches, as well as the Toyota TS050.
GT6’s opening followed a similar route with footage compiled from previous trailers shown on the road to release. Unfortunately, if you were hoping for an entirely new footage collage you’ll be disappointed.

If you haven’t seen the E3 2017 trailer, this video focuses on GT Sport’s “Driving is For Everyone” mantra. Many panning shots show races in each class of the game, set to a new, whimsical tune. The title of the E3 trailer indicates that this is actually the theme song of the game, so perhaps it’ll appear elsewhere in the title. This could be the first full GT to not feature Moon Over the Castle.
Polyphony Digital has expertise at crafting these types of sizzle-reel and GT Sport’s intro is no exception. The camera angles and choice of music are spectacular and sums up what the title is aiming to achieve. Seeing this for the first time once the game installs on your console is sure to ignite some hype. Thankfully, we don’t have long to wait now before we can experience this on our own PS4.
